Method
1. Rinse the basmati rice in cold water and soak it for about 20 minutes. 2. In a large pot, heat oil and ghee over medium heat. 3. Add sliced onion, chopped tomato, green chilies, and ginger garlic paste. Saute until the onions turn golden brown. 4. Add biryani masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well. 5. Add boiled eggs and mix well. 6. Add the soaked basmati rice and water. Stir well. 7. Cover the pot with a lid and let it cook for about 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked. 8. Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes. 9. Serve hot with raita or pickle.
