- 2-3 whole crabs
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 cloves of minced garlic

- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste

- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cornflour
- 1/4 cup of water
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Salt to taste

- Chopper or blender

Method
- Clean and rinse the crabs. Break them into pieces and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the cornflour with water and stir well. Set aside.
- Heat the oil in a wok or a deep frying pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and chillies. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the tomato paste, chilli sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir well and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the crab pieces and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until the crab turns red.
- Pour in the cornflour mixture and stir well. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
- Add salt to taste and stir well.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
