- 3 egg yolks

- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add heavy cream and mix until the dough comes together.
- Roll out the dough onto a floured surface and transfer it to the tart pan. Press the dough into the pan and trim the edges. Prick the bottom with a fork.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool.
- In a saucepan, whisk together egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, milk, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.

- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
