- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 pound of spaghetti
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

- Large skillet
- Pot for boiling pasta
- Large spoon or spatula
Method
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the chopped onion, red and green bell peppers, and garlic to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
- Add the jar of spaghetti sauce, oregano, and basil to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet and spoon some of the sauce over the chicken.
- Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid or aluminum foil.
- Cook for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- While the chicken is cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions.
- Drain the spaghetti and divide it among four plates.
- Top the spaghetti with the chicken and sauce and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
