For the churros:- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 tsp salt

Method
1. In a large pot, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. 2. Add flour and whisk vigorously until a dough forms. 3. Remove from heat and let the dough cool for 5 minutes. 4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. 5. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star-shaped piping tip. 6. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot until it reaches 375°F (190°C). 7. Pipe the dough into the hot oil, cutting the churros with scissors or a knife as they come out of the piping bag. 8. Fry the churros until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. 9. Drain the churros on paper towels. 10. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it starts to steam. 11. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and salt. 12. Whisk until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth. 13. Serve the churros with the warm chocolate sauce.Notes
